AMBULANCE: You may have seen an article and interview in recent days regarding our Ambulance service. I hope this post will clear up any confusion. This year, as part of an Ordinance update, we are proposing a new fee of $100 for a call that requires no medical treatment and no transport. To be clear, the first two (non-emergency) calls of every year will be free and proper notice and information will be given. These types of calls are non-emergency and we have seen a rise in them. It is not much different than a fee we already have of $100 for medical treatment and no transport. Rest assured, if someone calls 911 our Ambulance crew will most definitely respond. Our hope is to cut down on non-emergency calls by helping people find better alternatives while offsetting some of our costs. People who need medical assistance are always encouraged to call 911. If you have any questions, please reach out to the Town Manager or Ambulance Director!

Solar panels have been installed on the Town Garage. This means our electricity bill will be reduced for the next six years and at the end of that period, we will have the option to buy them. For more information, feel free to reach out to the Town Manager.
You may have noticed gravel in the lot next to the Town Office. This gravel was donated by Lane Construction for a gravel parking lot to be build in June by the Army Corp of Engineers, also at no cost to the Town.
